LIVING CONCERT SERIES (LCS)

From the very outset, our main field of activity has been classical music, particularly works for large orchestra, but also solo performers, chamber music and choral works. What they all have in common is that they are always recorded on location in natural spaces. The LIVING CONCERT SERIES embodies in a particular way the basic thinking behind the ACOUSENCE “labelphilosophy“. The audio media of this series are as a rule recorded under live conditions. The natural spontaneity of the concert situation, combined with our well-honed recording techniques, which can communicate those minutest of nuances that are so fundamentally important particularly for the atmosphere and emotional impact, provide you with your own very special "concert experience".

Anhaltische Philharmonie Dessau
Antony Hermus

A varied programme of Spanish and South American works, which are seldom heard in this combination.

Antony Hermus continues his long-standing collaboration with ACOUSENCE with his new orchestra as well, the Anhaltische Philharmonie Dessau, and as an upbeat presents a very attractive programme, which can only seldom be heard in this combination.

Well-knows works from Spain, like Chabrier’s "España" and Rodigro’s famous Guitar Concerto - with Marlon Titre at the guitar, but also rarely performed but nonetheless equally interesting works such as Turina’s "Danzas fantásticas" and many more, promise an entertaining fervent Spanish "concert evening".

Duisburger Philharmoniker (Duisburg Philharmonic Orchestra)
Jonathan Darlington

With this new release a very special highlight of the long-standing partnership between the Duisburg Philharmonics under the baton of Jonathan Darlington and ACOUSENCE has been documented:  The venue of the Duisburg Philharmonics, the Philharmonie Mercatorhalle erected three years ago, got a big new concert organ built by Eule in an English/late romantic style at the beginning of the 2009/2010 season. The very first performance on this magnificent instrument, the dedication concert on 14th September 2009, immediately presented the opportunity to also publish this multifaceted programme on CD. In addition it was possible to employ two world-class organists as soloists for this concert: Iveta Apkala and Thomas Trotter.
