mu-se

Music Server incl. CD Drive for Ripping, SSD and Audio Interfaces.

The central sound-defining element is the DA converter, which converts the digital music data into “real” analog music. However, a suitable playback device for digital music data also belongs to a modern music system. Whether for music from your own library or streamed from the Internet. In contrast to conventional computers, our mu-se music server is already designed to be EMC-compliant by virtue of its design and the components used. This means that the mu-se produces very little of the sound-damaging high-frequency interference that usually occurs, and our special arfi-optical interface makes it the perfect feed for the ACOUSENCE dac-pre DA converter preamplifier. This bidirectional communication of both partners via optical fibers guarantees the best possible conditions for the ACOUSENCE dac-pre without being disturbed by processes of mundane data processing.

For the application and user interface for the control of music playback on a daily basis, we focus on a high degree of ease of use and flexibility with minimal complexity. For this purpose we use the  J.River Mediacenter,  which you can control via an UPnP -App of your choice very conveniently. This solution works just as comfortably for music from your own library as streaming via Qobuz, Tidal and Youtube. In addition, the entire Roon environment is also available. Integrated file management, including CD ripping and several other details, round out the program. The operation is simply done via smartphone or tablet.
